1 lbs red beans
2 quarts water
1 lbs pork
1/2 cup green peppers, chopped
1/2 cup celery, chopped
1 medium onion, chopped
5 cloves garlic
1 Tbs salt
1 Tbs pepper
Add 2 Tbs parsley, chopped
Add beans to water and boil until soft.
Add pork, green peppers, celery, onion and garlic. Cook until vegetables are soft. Add spices and let rest. Add chopped parsley right before serving

We 3x this recipe, and did not soak the beans.
